I've been scanning the reddit and have learned a ton already. Is there any parts of the car or specific areas of tuning that the porsche should focus on first when I'm on a new track? What is a good order to tune the car in? Is there any settings that Porsche seems to always need tuned to make a difference immediately? What should my next focus area be for setups after Tyres > Break Bias > _ ?Īny advice would be appreciated.

I just want to understand the car I drive and know how to make minor tweaks to better suit the car to what I want it to do on a track. I fully understand that no tuning setup is going to take 4 seconds off my lap times and that's not what my goal is. I still am determined to drive this car and learn as much as I can about it though. I've only been playing a couple weeks now, and I work 50+ hours a week so I haven't had a ton of total playtime yet either. What would be a good next step or other tuning areas that I can start tweaking to make my experience driving better and post better times. I'm still a little confused with that but I think I mostly understand how I would find a good bias on my own. I'm taking it very slow, I understand tyres well enough, I'm working on break balance right now and learning how to find the right bias for the brakes on any given track. I really want to learn about setups and get some advice and tips on this car specifically. I also don't really want to use other's tunes, I want to understand the car on my own first before I try using setups from others. Hopefully what I just described makes sense. Only now have I realized that the car only becomes difficult as you begin to push it to its limits and start driving it for speed instead of just driving it to stay on the track. I didn't really even understand what people were talking about at first, the car felt pretty stable to me. I tried other cars but nothing really felt as good as the Porsche to me. So, basically every person I've spoken to told me not to touch this car until I'm way more experienced with sim racing and ACC in general.
